Schools Out

You're a very special person and I think that you should know,

How I loved to be your teacher and how fast the year did go!

Please come back to visit me, as through the grades you grow.

Try hard to learn all you can, there is so much for you to know.

The one thing that I tried to teach you, To last your whole life through-

Is to know THAT YOU ARE VERY SPECIAL just because you are you!

(McKay came home on the last day of school with a Memory Book, this sweet poem was in the back signed by his teacher. McKay really enjoyed his 2nd grade year and thought it was so cool that he had a man teacher.)

How did McKay celebrate his last day of school? Playing hard with his friend Garrett after school, excited they will be in the same class together for the 1st time next year!!! Had a late night at our house with his good buddy Anthony. They've been in the same class since kindergarten, however 3rd grade the Dynamic Duo will be split up:( One thing, I love about McKay is his ease to make friends. He just loves life and enjoys it with whoever is around.
