Tradition

Eight years and going strong...
Little did Mom realize the legacy she was starting with a simple invite to the pumpkin patch in 2003. Perhaps she did know the impact such a simple outing would make years later. It is a HYER FAMILY TRADITION we look forward to each October. The weather is always a surprise -some years we've been picking pumpkins all bundled up in our winter coats other years just in a T-shirt. No matter the weather the company is always grand.
Look how our family has grown and changed ... not to mention Grandma's hair.
2003 to 2010 Grandma and Grandpa gained a few grandkids!

2004 Maggie joined the tradition

2005 - the kids love being with cousins

2006

2007 - Monson was in the belly!

2008

2009

2010 -HAPPY FALL YA'LL!

I didn't even know Day Farms does a Halloween thing. Is it a hay ride or what? I love these fun Halloween traditions, even though my toes are still frozen from just getting home from Black Island Farms!

Not sure if my kids even know what pumpkins are let alone the cold. I bought Bridger and Cooper's halloween costumes today. The two are going to be "goal lassos" or soccer players. Couldn't get the uniform off of Cooper. He loves goal lassos and calls all balls goals!
